The White Wave Inversion Toolkit provides a fast and easy post-stack and pre-stack inversion, spectral enhancement using whitening and forward modeling. White Wave Inversion has the option to use a wavelet or use a statistical wavelet for each trace as the operator, this inversion is similar to Colored Inversion. The spectral whitening attribute enhances the spectrum of the seismic.

  • Post-stack option enables fast and simple inversion of 2D and 3D seismic to generate acoustic impedance cubes.
  • Enhance your spectrum using spectral whitening.

  • The technique is based on the Wiener (1949) deconvolution theory, and also on A. N. Tikhonov (1979) regularization approach.
  • The method requires only seismic data and wavelet as input, and if wavelet unknown then uses a statistical wavelet.
  • Results can be achieved very quickly because all calculations are done in frequency domain, based on the FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) technique.

We recommend using virtual cube calculation and visualizing one inline or cross line results to interpretation window. It is allows selecting the best parameters with visual control of quality because calculation for one inline (cross line) will be very fast. User will be able to modify the parameters and the wavelet to see changes live.
