* Internet Explorer version 9: Enable TLS versions 1.0. 1.1 and 1.2 in your Browser settings (Internet options > Advanced > Settings > Security).
* Safari: Enable TLS versions 1.0. 1.1 and 1.2 in your Browser settings (Preferences > Advanced Icon > Change Settings > Advanced Tab > Settings).

SSB sections are usually easier to interpret and reveal more information about the subsurface. Small scale faulting, not seen on the original section, is often observed. Such additional information can be useful during well planning. SSB is rapid, easy to use, inexpensive, robust and does not require expert users.
  • Provides a globally optimised spectral shaping of 2D and 3D seismic data to be consistent with observed Earth's reflectivity.
  • Integrates seamlessly with Petrel software allowing seismic to be accessed and the spectral blued operator saved as a wavelet.

SSB provides a set of customisable charts and a seismic view window. Both are updated in real time allowing you to quickly determine the parameters for generating an optimum blueing operator. Using seismic directly from the Petrel software the analysis can be performed rapidly. The saved SSB operator can be applied to the input seismic volume via the SSB process or the Workflow Manager.
