Calculation using Techlog charts
Techlog has numerous charts and they all are used qualitatively only, as a background for cross-plot data. The Charts calculation method enables quantitative analysis and estimation of data with background charts. Each chart has three axis: X, Y and Z. The last one represents by the curve codes or chart grid. Knowing the values of the two axis, this algorithm calculates the value on the third one.
The layering functionality creates detailed layers from continuous variables to 1D upscaling. Within a layer, formation properties are assumed constant from top till bottom.
The log squaring algorithm interpolates a variable from a continuous to an interval dataset. Different approaches can be used, such as classical averaging with statistical outputs including the minimum value, maximum value, sample count, and density of samples per meter/foot.
Russian Tools overview
All solutions are implemented in the Application Workflow Interface (AWI) manager, making it easier to work with and removing the learning curve. Everything is real time enabled, with all the features that you know such as workflow saving, automation, zonations and the ability to interject these processes in existing Techlog workflows.
