Simple interface to easily QC and compare input and results
A simple section viewer allows users to generate quick results and adjust parameters to see the changes instantly in stacked or individual displays. A new set of gathers is generated at each step in the workflow so results can be analysed and compared. Horizons, well paths and formation tops can be added to the display.
Full list of conditioning functions to build a workflow
Users can create customised workflows from a list of functions. These include Gather Flattening, 1D Taylor Time Shift Estimation and generating intercept and gradient volumes. Each function has adjustable parameters and utilise seismic horizons for calculation windows. At any point in the workflow results can be cropped and realised as full volumes.
Attribute measurement: analyse pre and post conditioning
Attribute measurement: analyse pre and post conditioning Create a range of powerful QC attributes using the Gather Measurement tool. Cross correlations, phase and frequency, time differences can be accurately measured and displayed in the attribute panel, which is synced to the section field of view. The spectra at each trace can also be calculated and displayed in the attribute panel.
Gather View QC
The Gather Viewer tool lets users generate on-the-fly gathers around a well from any stage in the conditioning workflow. Gathers are opened in a Petrel* well viewer and allow overlapping or adjacent comparisons between the seismic data pre- and post- function.

Overview
Before any inversion process it is crucial to make sure that input seismic is fit for purpose. The RokDoc SDC plug-in provides a comprehensive range of functions that allow users to interrogate their seismic data, apply a customisable workflow to condition gathers, and then QC and realise the new products. Workflows are carried out on-the-fly and can be examined at every step.
Specifications
Based on, and linked to, the industry-reference RokDoc platform
Utilises full conditioning functions from RokDoc SDC and Inversion module
Backed by Ikon’s global support network (14 offices)
Identical functionality to RokDoc enables users to leverage experts as required
Sessions are saved in Petrel and may be reactivated at any time
Operates with Petrel* 2013/14 on MS Windows 7 or Windows 8
Features
The SDC workflow incorporates industry standard functions including trim static Gather Flattening, Spectral Balancing, and new to RokDoc, 1D Taylor Time Shift Estimation, which includes time shift volumes. Helpful QC tools include an attribute calculator to describe any change in character with angle/offset, a gather viewer and a section viewer for visual review.
