Create PowerPoint presentations from windows in Petrel
This PowerPoint presentation was created with a custom template. In the auto-sync mode, PowerPoint Creator automatically selects all open windows to send to PowerPoint, and the user decides the slide order by arranging the windows in the list. Slide captions default to the window name, but are easily changed by editing the text next to the window in the dialog box.
Choose slide order, text, layout and transparent color
With PowerPoint Creator, you can create slides from all of Petrel's display windows with control of slide order, text, template and layout for creating or adding to presentations. A transparent color can be used to better show text layered on top of your images or to layer pictures on top of each other. Graphics files can be exported with, or in place of, a PowerPoint presentation.
Update PowerPoint presentations from Petrel
Here we see an open PowerPoint presentation being updated using the PowerPoint Creator plug-in. The selected slide already has a picture of a fluvial facies property and the user is adding an image of the corresponding porosity. To do this, the user must select the placeholder in PowerPoint, select the window in the plug-in, and then click the update button.
Automate creation of presentations using Petrel workflows
Here's an example of a workflow that generates a PowerPoint presentation with a slide for each of the properties on a grid. In this case, the user has chosen to use a single window and loop through each of the grid properties, creating a slide for each. A variable assigned to the property name is used for the slide text so that each slide is labeled with its displayed property.
