Plug-in Overview
GeoSphere Bridge (GSB) is a plug-in dedicated to the visualization of GeoSphere and PeriScopeHD inversion-based answer products. Those deep electromagnetic resistivity maps of the surrounding formation structures can be used by the geoscientists to improve the understanding of the subsurface, the well placement and the reservoir model.
Specifications
  • Visualization of GeoSphere and PeriScopeHD inversion-based maps in 2D and 3D.
  • Deep electromagnetic resistivity maps overlay with Seismic data.
  • Fetch inversion results in real time from InterACT.
  • Export RMWD canvas to ASCII file as point set.
  • Allows geoscientist to analyze percentile model distribution, including dips and anisotropy.
Features
Enables the integration of GeoSphere Reservoir Mapping While Drilling and PeriScopeHD answer products into pre-existing Petrel workflow. The interpretation based on this integration provides a better understanding of the reservoir model. Static data loading requires a zip file from Schlumberger well placement team. The real time data is streamed from InterACT via WellSync application.
