Specifications

Bedrock server:

  • Share 3D ZGY and 2D SEGY seismic data from GeoFrame.
  • Wells, boreholes, checkshots, deviation surveys, log curves and markers from GeoFrame to Petrel.
  • 2D and 3D Horizon and Fault Z  interpretation and 3D horizon attributes transfer from GeoFrame to Petrel.
  • Structural grids from GeoFrame to Petrel.
  • Wells, boreholes, deviation surveys, checkshots, markers and 3D seismic interpretation from Petrel to GeoFrame.

GeoFrame Data Connector:

  • Wells, boreholes, deviation surveys, and markers transfer from Petrel to GeoFrame.
  • 2D and 3D horizon, fault and fault boundary interpretation transfer from GeoFrame to Petrel.
  • 3D Horizon and fault interpretation transfer from Petrel to GeoFrame.
  • Wells, boreholes, checkshots, deviation surveys, log curves, markers, and lithofacies  from GeoFrame to Petrel.
  • 3D seismic data from GeoFrame to Petrel in ZGY format.

Features

The main benefits of transferring data through the Bedrock server are:

  • Provides remote read from GeoFrame databases across dissimilar platforms in a heterogeneous network.
  • No need for file transfers.
  • Easy to use wizard for data selection.
  • Coordinate system conversions handled between GeoFrame and Petrel projects.

The main benefits of transferring data through the GeoFrame Data Connector are:

  • Centralized  GeoFrame data selection using Basemap.
  • Export data selections to Petrel using area of interest based on polygons and GIS.
  • Coordinate system conversions handled between GeoFrame and Petrel projects.
  • Model based interpretation transfer between GeoFrame and Petrel.
  • Folder based Petrel interpretation selection for import into GeoFrame.
  • Portable file transfer.
