ARK CLS GeoDataSync Accelerate

The same data in Petrel project and OpendTect survey
GeoDataSync Accelerate allows you to work with 3D seismic on an OpendTect survey without copying the data. It also allows you to import and export various data types.
Connection tab for GeoDataSync Accelerate dialog
Accelerate is simple to use, just select the location of OpendTect (if it's not installed in the default location) and click the Connect button. You will then be given the option to select the OpendTect survey you wish to work with during this session. It's that easy.
Import/Export tab on the GeoDataSync Accelerate dialog
This shows the Horizon data type, but the drop down menu also allows the choice of Well, Fault, Polygon, Pickset, Seismic 3d, Seismic 2D and Wavelet. You can import data into a Petrel project simply by selecting from OpendTect survey (Top Reservoir shown here) and clicking the left blue arrow. Exporting from a Petrel project is performed in a similar manner.

Demonstration of GeoDataSync Accelerate
A brief introduction to ARK CLS GeoDataSync Accelerate outlining the main benefits of using the plug-in along with a short demonstration.
2015 | 2014 | 2016
This plug-in facilitates an efficient workflow effort between Petrel and OpendTect, allowing geoscientists to easily use the best in class modules from of either of these interpretation systems for a given workflow task.
3D Seismic cubes from OpendTect can be viewed and used within a Petrel workflow without the need to import the volume first.
Import and Export 3D & 2D Seismic
Import and Export 3D Horizons
Import and Export Faults
Import and Export Polygons
Import and Export Wells
Import and Export Wavelets
Accelerate allows Petrel users to access 3D seismic data volumes stored in an OpendTect survey without copying. Once the connection has been established, the data can be used in any Petrel workflow. This connection is automatically re-established whenever the Petrel project is re-opened saving time and effort.
