Internet Explorer version 9: Enable TLS versions 1.0. 1.1 and 1.2 in your Browser settings (Internet options > Advanced > Settings > Security).
Safari: Enable TLS versions 1.0. 1.1 and 1.2 in your Browser settings (Preferences > Advanced Icon > Change Settings > Advanced Tab > Settings).
Ocean does not support Internet Explorer versions 8 and below.

Editing contour lines in a map window.
With the available editing tool, users can edit/add/delete the contour node, or contour line, or several contour line simultaneously. The only thing prior to edit is to “select” the contour or some of the nodes, shown as below,
The customized objects under petrel surfaces.
The newly generated contour object will be stored under the surface directly as a new attribute with a given name. after generation, the Input structure shown as below figure
This tool can improve efficiency of mapping workflow.
When generating a new contour object, users can use the fault and polygon boundary as the constraint, which make it easier to check the structure information. Then under this view, edit the contours as required.
The edited contours can be exported for future usage.
With ContourEdit plug-in, the edited contours can be exported as polyline for further use, which is consistent with the general polyline in Petrel, and the exported polyline can be further processed by standard Petrel calculations and operations

Create - Edit - Export contours workflow
This video provides a complete workflow from creating new contour objects to exporting the edited contour. In the workflow, users can directly convert the regular surface inside Petrel project to contour object with constrain of boundaries and faults. You can also define an initial settings of line type and label etc. Furthermore, this contour editing operations can be done in Petrel map window, such as: add, edit, fill, modify, simplify, smooth and delete the contours. When all editing is finished, the contours edited can be exported as polylines for further use.
GPT ContourEdit V1.0 is a plugin suitable for Ocean platform which is developed by Goldensun Petroleum Technologies,inc(GPT). Using this tool, users can easily manipulate contours by editing, filling, modifing, smoothing operations in Petrel software Map Window. And the contours edited can be exported for further using.
The ContourEdit plug-in enables users convert surface into editable contours. In Petrel Map window, user can edit, create and delete these contour nodes accordingly. As the nodes updating, the grid color will be updated. This plug-in provides a different way to edit contours, which can help user produce a higher quality map.
Converting surface to contour nodes. In this step, user can specify top and base elevation limits, increment interval, width and font size of contour nodes. Every contour nodes will be a separate sub attribute under surface tree in input pane.
Constraining contour generation process with fault and surface boundary polygons.
Editing contour nodes. In the map window, user can drag, move, smooth and delete these contour nodes with the help of contouredit tool palette.
Changing display style. User can changing contour display style in its setting interface.
Creating contours. It allows user create contour by mouse picking.
Changing contour labels. The elevation value labels can by dragged freely in this plug-in.
Exporting contour as polygons. The edited contours can be exported as polygon items for further using.
