Overview
Direct sampling multipoint simulation is the latest advance in the art of MPS algorithm. It provides more flexibility and opens new possibilities while limiting the complexity of the user interface.
Specifications
  • Available as a workstep and as a process
  • Multipoint simulation with direct sampling strategy
  • Conditioning data
  • Discrete and continuous properties
  • Joint properties
  • Auxiliary properties for non-stationary training images
  • Trends for local rotations and local scaling factors
  • Proportion and distribution constraints
  • Region selection
  • Post-processing cleanup
  • Multiple realizations
Features
The direct sampling technology opens new perspectives in the multipoint simulation framework by proposing new features that are not available in the classical approach: simulation of discrete and continuous properties, simulation of joint properties, dealing with non-stationary training images, accounting for local rotations and local scaling factors, and handling probability constraints.
