From core image boxes into core image column.
The plug-in is automated cropping boxes photo image and convert to column photo. Left side is box photo before cropping and right side is after the cropping. User can modify, move and adjust the define column top and define column bottom, adjust the define separator and define column. User can only move one at the time the solid red line or the solid blue line in order to adjust the cropping.
Different columns dataset was done simultaneously.
The plug-in allow user to do multiple core photos with different columns and cropped it simultaneously. On this example, the left side is the core box photo image with three columns and on the right side is the core box photo with four columns. For each dataset, the display show the core box photo image before the cropping (left side) and the core column photo after the cropping (right side).
Core Image Cropping workflow.
Core Image Cropping workflow shows the parameter tab, change in the LogView display will simultaneously update the parameter value in the workflow. User can choose to modify and change it from the LogView display or from the parameter tab, change in both options are synchronize.
Convert core image column into RGB core image array.
Run “RGBFromImages” python script and drag and drop the result core image cropping from the result link to convert core image column into RGB core image array. (1) Open the python script. Drag and drop cropping result link into the python script (red box). (2) Launch the calculation. (3) Output save in the import buffer. Click blue arrow to put the RGB core arrays into current Techlog project.
Sand Counting analysis using the RGB core image array.
The RGB core arrays can be used as an input for other analysis such as Sand Counting and texture analysis. In this example, Greyscale core array use as input for the Sand Counting workflow. LogView display on the right shows the Sand Counting calculation based on the input and the parameter that has been selected. For further information please refer to the Wellbore Imaging Wbi module.

Zoom in of the LogView display of the Sand Counting calculation analysis which in this example using the Greyscale core image array. User can also change the color palette of the core image array as in this example is display in Greyscale color. For further detail information regarding the sand counting or textural analysis please refer to the Wellbore Imaging Wbi module.
