| Description | A cross-reference class that denotes which sample preparations are relevant to which sample analyses. For example, it stores the sample preparations that determine a samples state at the time of a particular analysis. This allows for sample preparations to be specified that were performed on ancestors of the sample being analyzed via the sample analysis, in addition to those that were performed on the sample being analyzed. Technical note: Although the preparations performed on a sample prior to its analysis can typically be derived via preparation completion dates of the sample and its ancestors, this table is included to allow the optional creation of a cross reference for quick retrieval of data. |
